Shelving, specified properly.
Homart Shelfs is a UK shelving specialist. We sell one category and we sell it well: floating shelves, bracket shelves, wall units, shelving towers, garage and workshop racking, alcove and bookcase systems, and the fixings that hold them up.
We started because buying a shelf online is needlessly vague. Listings tell you a colour and a length, then go quiet on the things that actually matter — how much weight the shelf will take, how deep the bracket really is, what screws are in the box, and whether any of it is suitable for a plasterboard wall. So on every product page we publish the numbers: dimensions in millimetres, load rating per shelf, material and finish, and what fixings are supplied.
How we choose what to stock
- Load first. Every shelf we list has a stated safe working load. If a supplier can't tell us the figure, we don't list the product.
- Honest depth and thickness. A 250mm shelf is measured front to wall, not including the lip.
- Finishes that survive. Powder-coated steel, real timber, and laminates rated for interior use.
- Fixings included — and named. You'll know whether you're getting wall plugs, masonry screws, or nothing at all.
Who we sell to
Homeowners fitting a single alcove. Renters who need something that comes off the wall cleanly. Builders and shopfitters ordering by the pallet. Landlords doing ten flats at once. If you're buying in quantity, see our trade and contract page.
